So apparently people actually want to look at this page when they visit the blog.  Well, I work for the technology arm of a regional phone carrier.  My area of expertise is UC and Datacenter design.  I’ve been in networking since 1997, and I’ve managed and built networks of all shapes and sizes.  I’ve even had the pleasure of converting from DEC LAT to IP once.  I’m also an open source and database guru with experience managing Oracle databases and .NET Developers.  However, I love networking and prefer it above all else.  I’m a bit of a Cisco bigot, but I see value in other vendor’s products and solutions as well.  I recently restarted going down the career recertification path again. Can you say REPEAT!

For fun I enjoy spending time with my soulmate, Denise, and my three dogs: Marvin, Laney, and Khloe.  I also love Nashville Predators hockey.  I also read a ton of books for both business and fun.
