Any idea how to work with a static IP that was assigned to the network address of the subnet? For example Verizon has set the last octet of the Static IP to .180 with a subnet of 255.255.255.252. With this subnet .180 lands on a network address where .181 and .182 are the usable addresses It works when you plug it into a PC, but the ASA complains when it tries to set the IP from DHCP.

[...] Hacked: A Microsoft Story « Binary Delusions – No good news here: IWhen XBox support killed my account with them, all my windows phone apps that I purchased complain that I’m not allow to update them. Wait aren’t apps tied to your Zune account. I guess not. So call Xbox Support again, can’t do anything to help because your account is locked until the investigation is complete. Okay fine, let me go post an app to marketplace wait no can’t do that either AppHub won’t accept me as a user anymore. Now Live Mesh has decided I’m a nonexistant too. Of course there are no good numbers to call to get help. XBox wants me to call my phone provider, and they want me to call MS Support. Everyone I’ve spoke to has been nice, but not helpful. If we are going to have systems that are so interconnected, we need support that is as well. [...]
